On the day of our visit for the photoshoot, the family of four quickly filled the truck bed with freshly harvested broccoli. Truly a masterful skill! They also helped us discuss new menu items using broccoli, and we even got caught in an unexpected whirlwind . It was a valuable and memorable experience.
Even after working on a hot day under the harsh sun, they held up the perfectly grown broccoli with beaming smiles 🎶. Our dishes are made possible with the help of the vegetables lovingly grown by Matsuda Farm. These dishes bring smiles to our customers’ faces. We believe that PRATIVO's role is to pass on this baton of smiles from the farmers to our customers.

Experience the 'Seasonal'

Niseko Tada Farm

At PRATIVO, we use strawberries from Tada Farm to create a refreshing, tangy ravigote sauce that pairs perfectly with meat. These glossy strawberries are chef-approved. Each berry is carefully harvested and is a true delight, both in sweetness and appearance!

Located in the hilly area at the base of Mount Annupuri in Niseko, Tada Farm benefits from excellent sunlight, good drainage, and significant temperature fluctuations between day and night, which contribute to the production of delicious vegetables.

In addition to strawberries, Tada Farm also grows essential vegetables for our dishes, such as tomatoes and Korinkei (eating pumpkins), with great care.

There is still much more to Tada Farm's charm.
One of the many attractions of Tada Farm is the variety of seasonal experiences you can enjoy.

・Late June to mid-July: Strawberry picking

・Early July to mid-July: Lavender harvesting
・Late July to mid-August: Blueberry picking
・Late August to mid-September: Sweet corn harvesting
・Late September to end of October: Potato digging
These seasonal activities are packed with fun for friends, couples, and families alike.

At the ‘Michi no Eki View Plaza,’ they also run a fast-food spot called ‘VegeKing,’ featuring fresh vegetables from the farm. Be sure to enjoy Tada Farm’s proud produce in dishes like quiches and strawberry smoothies at both PRATIVO and VegeKing!

Niseko Tasty's Nakamura-san grows sweet and delicious mini tomatoes, sweet potatoes, watermelons, asparagus, and more on high-quality land surrounded by Mount Yotei and the Niseko Range. Nakamura-san, originally from Ishikari City, moved to Niseko Town and became involved as a regional revitalization volunteer. With a passionate commitment to becoming a farmer who supports Japanese cuisine, he trained with local farmers. He received a plot of land from a connected farmer and started his own farm in 2021.
The delicious vegetables from Niseko Tasty are so sweet that you might even think they’re 'sweets'! When you peek inside the greenhouse, you'll see clusters of red and yellow mini tomatoes. Once you try them, you'll find you can’t stop eating them, no matter how many you have! The sweet potatoes can be stored for long periods in a storage facility, so we also recommend trying the dried sweet potatoes and roasted sweet potatoes made from these perfectly ripe tubers.

Niseko's Only Wagyu Farm

Dai-Ni Arishima Farm

Have you heard about the 'Kuroge Wagyu' raised on the vast land at the base of Mount Yotei? Dai-Ni Arishima Farm is the only farm in Niseko producing Kuroge Wagyu. At PRATIVO, we use their carefully raised Wagyu for our popular menu items, including hamburgers and steaks.

Our motto is to make full use of the entire cow, so we purchase a whole cow from Dai-Ni Arishima Farm. This allows us to provide every part of the cow without waste. As fellow cattle farmers, we share a deep appreciation and respect for the animals.

When asked to describe the charm of Dai-Ni Arishima Farm’s Wagyu in one word, they replied with a gentle smile, 'It’s meat with character.' The reason is that the cows from Dai-Ni Arishima Farm are mother cows. Instead of being shipped for meat after about three years, they are raised as breeding cows and, at the end of their lives, their meat is used with respect. The phrase 'meat with character' reflects the deep respect for these mother cows. Isn't that a beautiful sentiment? It really shows the love and care with which they are raised.

Here's a Fun Fact!
At Dai-Ni Arishima Farm, the cattle are grazed alongside ostriches. On sunny days, you can see a collaboration between the ostriches and the cattle. The cattle eat the grass that the ostriches leave behind until it’s short, and in return, the ostriches consume the leftover grass, weeds, and manure. They coexist peacefully, acknowledging each other's presence and enjoying their time on the vast land together.
